Argento Diagnostics presents a platform technology to propel Point of Care testing into a new dimension.
For the first time ever, utilising the Argento technology we will be able to offer fully quantitative analysis of multiple analytes from a single sample in a truly portable handheld device which adds the benefits of modern mobile phone, WiFi and Bluetooth technology to store and communicate the results of the tests to maximise the impact and efficiency of testing.
The goals in designing and developing the system were:
Portable
Handheld, low power requirement (battery power) simple to use.
Communications Enabled
Fully compatible with latest communication technologies, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.
Rapid
Assay times of less than 10 minutes.
Multiple Applications
Human, veterinary, environmental diagnostics; homeland security; food testing and sports medicine.
Full quantitative analysis
Comparable with fixed laboratory analysis.
Multiplexing of analytes
Multiple analytes per sample and test strip.
Multiple samples types
Blood, serum, plasma, saliva, urine, water, etc.
